    The CDC is considering whether to recommend that boys be vaccinated against HPV (learn more about the virus), not just girls. There are more than 40 strains of HPV that are transmitted through skin-to-skin contact. The most well-known strain causes genital warts. Many others strains show no obvious symptoms.

    Health officials say HPV can increase a man's chances of contracting certain cancers.

    well now that it may give men cancer they become more serious? men are carriers of this and everything else...it's about time!
