Can we really say all religions are the same or true when one considers the Prince Philip Movement?

The Prince Philip movement is the funniest actual religion that I know. Prince Philip became God to the people of a small island during WW2 when a British Royal Airforce pilot accidentally dropped something from the sky. The point I am making; can we really say 'All' religions are equally the same?

God is constant and yet ever-changing. It is a birthless and deathless Universe, a kind of spiritual evolution in progress or continuous self-transcendence.

Since the Root is such, the branches would all be part of this process.

Let us look at it from the standpoint that Love with a capital 'L' is constant. The drunkard, family man, drug addict and the thief, are all trying to find it consciously or unconsciously, while applying different methods. The end goal always remains Happiness, again with a large 'H.', but the methods vary.

The Spiritual Life - in all Faiths - quintessentially speaks of a joyful and delightful Ultimate Ground, a Perennial Entity which some call Allah and others God. It advocates rules or guide maps on how to get there. This is always utilised by us, according to our own level of inner growth and conscious awakenings.

All are valid and nothing is without use or purpose, merely a process of growth which, like a ladder, has many levels and is indeed essential to the creative process. In Love and Light.

    إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِندَ اللَّـهِ الْإِسْلَامُ ۗ
Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam.(19:سورة آل عمران)
    (وَمَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ ﴿٨٥
And whoever desires other than Islam as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.(85:سورة آل عمران)

Does Islam have a book of prophecies that have been revealed during our lifetime?

Norine our book of prophecies were revealed 100 years after the death of Muhammad (pbuh). Our prophecies can be found within Hadith literature, however, Islamic eschatology is an area Muslims are failing to explore in our lifetime.

Can you give me an example of a prophecy that has been fulfilled in our lifetime that was prophesied by your prophets yrs ago other than what has been copied from the bible?

Abdus: Dear Heart, your religion hates "Christianity?" because the bible has been misconstrued fm OLD writings therein which r OBSOLETE! NEW COVENANT NOW effect(Gal3:13-14)!  NC=no killing,no actions by individuals but by SPIRIT of GOD - LOVE/GRACE!

      @Norine

The Quran is balanced towards the Christians. We recognise Christian kindness but do not accept Jesus (as) to be God or the son of God for that is blasphemy. Jesus (as) was both a mighty Prophet and slave of God.

GOD is an OMNIPRESENT SPIRIT! In ALL places simultaneously! In ALL who "believe!" Is NOW; was THEN!

ALL SPIRIT who changes from GLORY to GLORY; Jesus, Burning Bush, Paul, or WHOMEVER/WHATEVER He desires!

GOD is WHAT He is but JESUS is WHO He is!

Many continue to "create" Religions based on what is written in the Word of God by reversing, twisting, or misinterpreting what GOD has said, but TRUTH will be revealed!

Why would anyone believe in something that was written AFTER the Bible was written?  Why would some believe in pagan gods or man that did not walk with Jesus or His disciples nor live during that era?  Why do people "add to" or "take away" from what is written in His Word?  Why would someone believe that "The Gospel of Christ" is anything other than "Spiritual?"

Although "religions" may believe in a "supreme being," who/what is that supreme being?  Do they teach "The Gospel of Christ?" (Galatians 1:6-9)  Others may "copy" or "twist" His Word to "loose souls," (John 10:10) but TRUTH will always win!

Does one want "original" (first) writings or just an imitation (copy)?  Does one wish to worship a "statute" (pagan god), "man," or The Spirit - GOD -  which our spirits are connected to and we can satisfy, if connected!  What has a statute or "man" done for you lately? What did they do for Pharaoh?  Does Satan have MOST so blind that they cannot "see" TRUTH and/or the "MOTIVE" for "creating" such "religions?"

Yes, we ALL seek to fulfill that "inner longing" to "connect" with our Creator, but "unfortunately" Satan has "created" devices (through religion) to detour us (John 10:10)!  II Timothy 2:15 has warned us to "Study to show thyself (not what man has said but what you have read in the Word of God) approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING the Word of TRUTH!"  If one does, he will be prepared as written in II Corinthians 2:11 which says "Lest Satan should get an advantage of us; for we are not "ignorant" of his devices."

Prince Philips did as those do today in "religion," take advantage of "sheep" who are to "ignorant" to "Study" by "RIGHTLY DIVIDING" (Isaiah 28:10) the Word of God!

NO more LAW  wherein WE have to WORK but are "changed fm glory to glory" (II Cor 3:18) by the WORKINGS of the Holy Spirit (GOD aka JESUS)!It's a NEW DAY w/a NEW COVENANT where WE"Do unto others as we'd have them do unto us"

      SPIRITUAL not PHYSICAL!

I really think this question should be asked in reverse. Can we really say all religions AREN'T the same or true and if so what criteria do you use? longevity, number of adherents, whether it seems funny or not?

I think Christianity is pretty funny. Should that make it less equal or not true? Or maybe the finding it funny should require a majority. How about Wiccans? They're a funny bunch, right? Or my personal favorite (and personal religion) the great god Fluffybutt, who is a giant pink elephant zooming around the cosmos? Not a real religion? Not true? Good luck proving it.

And that ultimately is why your question is a bit ironic. When you start to poke at someone else's make-believe, you can't help but poke at your own as well.

I mean who is to say Prince Philip isn't a divine being? You? It makes as much sense as any of the other divine beings.

What we really need is a third party perhaps. Let's find some aliens and we can all do a show-and-tell. We'll all be there with portraits of our gods, including the Kastom people with Prince Philip and me with Fluffybutt, and we'll see who they laugh at.

My bet is it will be all of us.

You have made valid points and your insight is duly noted:

@Abdus:  Why do u blv that saying JESUS is GOD is blasphemy? Against bible which your religion was founded on! (I Tim 3:16; Jn 1:10; Rv 1:8; Is 43:10-13) Too many other Scriptures says so but limited space!

No, we can't because we can actually prove that Prince Philip exists. In many ways, the south Pacific islanders who worship Prince Philip have a religion that makes more sense than any other religion.

Not if "Spirit" is not the "foundation" of that or any other "religion!"

We are a spirit housed in a body & if that spirit is never connected to THE SPIRIT (our Creator-GOD) there'll NEVER  be "satisfaction!"  Keep living & searching-you'll
