Disney Gift Guide: For Her
The Holiday season is here and it always comes faster and faster every year. I have a lot of Disney fans in my family and friends and every year I try to find them something they will love! I don't always buy them Disney gifts but that might change this year. There are so many cute things out right now that I could see each and every one of them loving and using. I thought this year I would share what I have had my eye on for gift ideas for not only the kids but the adults in my life. I hope this helps you out if you need some inspiration for presents; especially if you have some Disney fans in your life too!
For The Little Princess
Do you have a special little girl in your life who loves Disney but don't know what to get her? I have two! My niece is ten and my friends baby (who I still consider my niece) is almost two. I find sometimes it's hard to find the right gifts for them. These five choices I think can cover a range of ages. I could totally give my friends baby a cute Disney shirt or pillow pet and my niece would adore the doll or the charm bracelet!
1. Character Sweater
I think every little girl would love a cute Disney sweater for Christmas! I know I am definitely buying my friends baby one this year and my friend will probably love it more than her daughter.
2. Disney Pillow Pet
What child wouldn't love their favorite character in pillow pet form? I am not too proud to admit that I have one myself and I personally think that they are so soft and cozy. Disney now has practically every character to choose from!
3. Disney Animator's Doll
These dolls are so beautiful! They have made one for every princess and I think they are so precious with the little friend that comes with them. I can't wait for my friend's baby to turn three so I can buy her one (suggested age is 3 and up)! I can't think of a little girl who wouldn't love her favorite princess as a doll to take everywhere.
4. Disney Hedbanz Board Game
My niece and I have spent many hours playing various Disney games from babysitting her frequently and she has told me multiple times the Headbanz game is her favorite because she gets to wear ears. She always requests three things when I watch her: Disney movies, Disney games, and for me to sneak her off to Disneyland. She is definitely a child after my own heart. I may not have kidnapped her and taken her to Disneyland but the other two requests I have always fulfilled her other requests. Disney has so many board games now days you really can't go wrong if you have a game lover. This is one of my favorites because it is so fun and funny what people come up with for questions!
5. Disney Charm Bracelet
This bracelet is positively charming. I think charm bracelets (or really any jewelry) when given as a gift makes any girl feel special. These in particular you can customize what charms you want. Disneyland doesn't just have princesses but also other characters and items such as cupcakes, hearts, and initials.
Stocking Stuffer Idea
Need a sticking stuffer idea? Hallmark has a whole line of these little stuffed animals called Itty Bitty's. They have all types of Disney characters (even from Pixar movies) and they are so cute and little! Last year I bought my niece Elsa and Anna from Frozen and she loved them so much she wanted me to make sure she had a complete set. I think these are great for stocking stuffers and any child would want one (or more).
Which gift idea is your favorite?
For The Grown-Up Princess
I have to admit I have a lot more adult Disney lovers in my life than kids. This just makes it ten times harder to find an age appropriate gift that they would love. All of my friends and family have so many different tastes as well as the type of Disney items that they like. I personally love to give gifts that I know will be useful, especially for an adult/teen. I think anyone who enjoys wine would love to get one (or a set) of these glasses. These Alex and Ani bangles are perfect for someone who wants a little Disney in their everyday life (I personally have 3). I also love these portable battery chargers because honestly who couldn't use one or a spare for their phone and tablet?
1. Disneyland Theme Park "Land" Wine Glass
So this actual wine glass was a surprise early present to me and I am totally stealing the idea! While I was at Disneyland with my friend and her mom about a month ago her mom sneakily bought me this as an early birthday/Christmas present. I was so delighted because I had been eyeing this glass ever since it came out! She bought all three of us a glass so we all had a matching one. It was so sweet and brilliant! There isn't just a Fantasyland glass either. There is one for every land inside of Disneyland. How cute would it be to give a set to someone who loves wine?! You could even package it with their favorite bottle of wine.
2. Disney Cell Phone Case
I think that anything cell phone related would be a great gift for any girl on your list! I particularly love the idea of portable battery chargers and cell phone cases. This Ariel case is so cute I think any of my friends would be giddy to get one! I know that I change my phone case about every month (as do they) and this would be a great choice to have, especially in the Summer.
3. Disney Character Socks
Even thought this is a "smaller" gift I think it would be great as a stocking stuffer or even for someone who you don't necessarily do a big gift exchange with. I also really love making gift "bags" for people with a couple of little items. For example, I could get them a pair of socks with their favorite character, a lip gloss, and maybe a small gift card.
4. Alex and Ani Disney Bangle
I can't lie- these are my favorite things right now! I am so obsessed with Alex and Ani bangles. As I mentioned earlier I have three already and I want about five more! This Aurora bangle pictured here is an actual gift I bought for someone. I can't wait to give it to her and start her own collection. Alex and Ani not only makes Disney bangles but they make a lot of different ones. I think it would look so cute mixed and matched! They also come in both gold and silver.
5. Disney Shirt
I think Disney shirts that don't scream Disney are the best! I love wearing them when I go to the park or even running around doing errands on my day off. This one is particularly cute and would be a great gift!
Gift Card Wrapping Idea
Are you more of a gift card giver? I hear ya! I usually give gift cards too depending on the person and wether or not they are traveling or are really hard to shop for. If you happen to buy gift cards for any of those Disney fans you have, why not put them in a cute Disney tin that they can reuse for something else (rubber bands and bobby pins come to mind)? I actually am doing just that this Christmas. I am not buying Disney gift cards but I am definitely putting them in these adorable tins along with some candy, chapstick, or nail polish. So cute!
Which gift idea is your favorite?
I hope this list has given you some good ideas and some holiday inspiration in the gifting department! I know that not everyone is a Disney fan but, if I do say so myself, you can easily buy all these things with out the Disney-ness to them. I personally love giving gifts during the holiday season and I love finding the perfect gift! Stay tuned for some more gift guides coming soon!
