67.2, CC? LOL--love it! Yeah, same with my dad. I never know what to buy him. :-)

Hehe...my dad is the hardest guy to buy for - it makes me nuts. He has everything, including 67.2 ties. (I made that up...but you get the point, lol)

      Fun hub!

Bishop--And many fathers already have everything they want or need.... It is a tough choice. Sometimes a card and a phone call is what I do! I hope that's not lame, but his birthday is also close to Father's Day. Thanks for the input. It's good to see you again!

Why is finding a father's day gift so difficult? Maybe it's because men seem so particular about gifts on this day. I know my father wouldn't let me live it down if I got him a tie. I usually try to be creative and get him something that he will use. It's still a tough choice cause he's so mysterious at time. But, you've given some good ideas. Another wonderful hub!

random--I'm loving the comments, too. No, I think most fathers just appreciate the thought, anyway, rather than a lot of money being spent.

Bill's comment cracked me up! Thanks for all of the great Father's Day suggestions. You certainly don't have to spend a lot of money to get a great Father's Day gift.

Effer, I agree; there are some funny comments on here, especially about ties! My dad doesn't wear ties, but I couldn't resist including the funny ties.

Sweet Williams are a perfect Father's Day gift. That's sweet about your dad. :-)

BTW, Victoria, I'm only kidding. I cherish anything my children gift me with, and I never throw them out...just ask my wife!

Victoria....some of these comments are sooo funny! arb cracks me up! My Dad has been gone for many years, unfortunately. But he is always in my heart and I'll stop by where he rests, with some flowers...his favorite, Sweet Williams. I know my Dad is really somewhere now that is peaceful and wonderful. I have to believe that.

I never bought him ties or candy....but "fishing" tackle and other cool stuff for the fisherman!

I hope my kids don't see this Hub! I have a whole closet full of ugly ties!

arb--LOL! I hear ya on the aftershave. That's what I always used to get my dad. As for the ties, maybe I should put in a disclaimer that I don't endorse the purchase of ties of any kind. hahaha. You crack me up! :-)

Thanks a whole bunch Victoria! In the last 44 years, I've received 25 bottles of dollar store after shave, 15 ties, I wouldn't make my dog wear (cause I love him) and 4 unkept promises. Its taken 44 years to finally get them to understand that its all about the money and in a 10 minute hub, you have set me back to ground zero. I'll vote it up and you know the drill, anyway cause I adore you, but, I'm sending you the after shave.

haha, Bill. Funny! Yeah, I don't see you as a tie guy. I thought they were funny, though! Hope you get the chocolate!

If my son buys me a tie I'm going to strangle him with it. Just sayin'! It's chocolate or nothing for this boy.

Great hub as usual! Nice job Vicki!
