The Best Christmas Carols in English
Angelic Carols
The master before the students!

Sing out with JOY this year!
One of my favorite parts of Christmas is listening to the many different Carols. I love to hear and sing so many of them!
Here are some of my favorites!
Mary's Boy Child- This one carries the most positive of all messages! We will live forever more, because of Christmas Day! This one is so beautiful in every way! Charlotte Church, and Boney M, hit this one very well. It has Jamaican roots and Lloyd Seivright did a great ethnic version.
Hark the Herald- Glory to to new boy King! An oldie but goodie. I love the rock and roll version that Weezer does. As funny as it may sound, Weezer performs this as it was meant to be done! Many of the choir versions I have heard are great also.
Ave Marie- No Matter what language its sung in, this carol is amazing when done right. I love both versions of it. Connie Talbot, Pavaroti, Andre Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, Bobby McFerrin (yes, the "Don't Worry Be Happy" guy) and Christina England master this. I never get sick of it.
Ave Maria! Maiden mild!
Listen to a maiden's pleading
from these rocks, stark and wild,
my prayer shall be wafted to thee.
we shall sleep safely till morning,
though men be ever so cruel.
o Maiden, see a maiden's distress,
O Mother, hear a suppliant child.
Ave Maria, undefiled!
When we upon this rock lie down
to slumber, and they protection covers us,
The hard stone will seem soft to us.
If Though smilest, the scent of roses will float
Through this murky cavern,
O Mother, hear a child's petition,
O maiden, 'tis a maid that calls!
Ave Maria, Maiden pure,
the demons of the earth and air,
drien forth by thy gracious glance
cannot stay here with us.
we will camly bow to fate
Since they holy comfort hovers over us;
Mayest though be favourably inclined to the maiden,
To the child that pleads for her father!
O' Holy Night- A gentile captivating melody makes this one of my favorites. Plus watching my 5th grade teacher maul this and get laughed at, is one of my favorite memories! That guy deserved some humble pie.LOL Merry Christmas Mr. Hathaway! Jed Madella, Celine Dion and many others nail this one!
Do you hear what I hear? What is not to love? Whitney Houston and the 5th grade angel, Connie Talbot both do beautiful versions!
There are way too many for me to list. I love so many! Please tell me your favorite(s) and have the best of Christmas' this year!
- The Twelve Motown Hits of Christmas!
Motown loved Christmas, and we love them both! Here are the 12 that I thought were the best. - Great X-mas gifts for 2011
Take the stress out of the Holiday Season, and make your shopping easier!
And now, my favorite of them all!
The Little Drummer Boy- Probably the most Spiritual Carol of them all. I love all of the versions, especially those by Josh Groban, The Supremes, Jimi Hendrix, Joan Jett and Bob Dylan. It shows that God cares about what is in our hearts, not our wallets! It is the thought that counts...that's why baby Jesus turned at smiled at him!
