The Mother's Day-to-Father's Day Gift Substitutions Chart

Updated on May 29, 2014

Holiday shopping for loved ones should be a joyful event. But for the young adult that hasn't been away from the proverbial nest very long, the joyful part can be frustrated by inexperience in knowing the suitable gift for the occasion. Ever-changing commercial offerings can complicate the matter further, sometimes to the point of snatching every bit of delight from what should be a positive experience for the consumer.

When it comes to buying for parents, we are often instructed from early childhood on about what kind of gifts make Moms happy. Yet, the likes and preferences of our Dads are often neglected or looked over. This inevitably leaves some first-time Father's Day shoppers clueless about what purchases to make.
