Number 5 - Kids Skeleton Costume

An instant classic, this Rubies Skeleton costume is one of the best selling skeleton costumes for children, and for good reason. Its well made and durable, whilst not being overly thick means its cool for your child to run around the house and the streets terrorising the neighbourhood on Halloween. Its also sold at a good price, sub $20 delivered, so is very affordable. Its basically a black jumpsuit but with EVA Mask, bones and gloves. Great looks and because its not tied in with a movie its not going to be out of date next year. Can be accessorised with torn t-shirts etc. Let your imagination run wild! This is a great fancy dress costume on its own, but with a bit of thought it can be a superb outfit for any kids party!

This video shows a professional make up artist doing the Lady Gaga look on a model. I have listed the products used below but obviously all these brands are not needed. Lucky Black Cat Costume

Number 3 - Black Cat Costume

If you want to get away from the typical witches and wizards, then a black cat costume is ideal. Its useful for Halloween, and general dress up fun. This Lucky Black Cat outfit features a furry outer, and is plush to touch. Its very well made, but perhaps a little hot for summer playtime. Its quite thick! Great for a cold Halloween nights though. A simple but nice outfit, its a all in one suit with tail, hood and mittens. Seriously cute Halloween costume for little boys or girls, available in many sizes.Mid range price of around $30 depending on size.

Number 2 - Deluxe Girls Cinderella Costume

The ultimate girls fancy dress costume for almost any event! But Halloween? Why yes. Cinderella will go to the ball and the party! Any little girl will feel like a Princess in this costume. It even comes with a choker and headband. Its official Disney, so is very high quality, and the price reflects this. However it is a truly great costume. If your daughter doesnt want to be a fairytale princess, you could blood it up with a blood capsule and make a "dead" Cinderella to mix it up. Being washable it can be cleaned after if you use the right type of blood. Overall this costume is ideal for more than just Halloween, it would be great for birthdays and general fancy dress party fun!

Number 1 - Buzz Lightyear Outfit

This is THE boys costume of the moment. Toy Story 3 is an incredible film and if we are honest, us adults like it more than the kids! However the kids still love Toy Story, and this deluxe Buzz Lightyear costume is the best. Whilst not Halloween in the traditional sense, any boy in this costume at Halloween will feel amazing, and all their friends would be jealous. It even has lights on the wings like Buzz in the movie. Who better to take on the ghouls and witches than Buzz? Movie Tie-in's are usually very short lived, and only popular for one year at best, but Toy Story, like Star Wars, and Spiderman have proven to span the years with ease. Always cool, and with this costume always amazing. Its quite expensive as its an official Disney product, but it is definitely worth it if you can afford the $45 outlay. An incredible costume, that your kids will want to wear everyday, not just for parties! An alternative but great Halloween costume for boys and worthy of our number one!

Have a great Halloween!

So there you go. We could of included witches, wizards, and devils but we thought why not show you alternatives to what is the norm. Whether your kids are going to a party or you are hosting one for all their friends, or you are just doing the Halloween favourite of trick or treat make it one to remember. Be creative and have fun with the costumes, and your kids will have a Halloween to remember. Enjoy, take photos for memories and Happy Halloween!
