   I usually serve both, a larger turkey and a small ham.  Leftovers of turkey are used for soup and sandwiches, and theleftover ham is diced and frozen in small amounts (handfuls) for pizza toppings, soup, omelettes and for macaroni and cheese. We have a big family and some picky eaters, so this way everyone is happy!

   I usually serve both.
   The pig is the solar animal related to the mid-winter festival associated with the Norse myths where Odin wore a freshly flayed reindeer skin and dropped gifts down the chimneys of his followers. The turkey is the solar animal associated with the mid-winter festivals of native, north and south, continental Americans.  If we serve goose, we are remembering the the solar animal associated with the Celtic mid-winter festivals.
   Like all Christian festivals, Christmas has Pagan roots.

   There's nothing like a Christmas Ham, maybe some raisin sauce,  christmas cookies, pie, a fire, my wife, and our dogs. Topped off with a few drinks and  christmas movies.  Prefect.

   Serving both. The ham will be nitrate free, the turkey will be natural without hormones. Lots of veggies and all the trimmings.
   We'll have lots of leftovers, turkey fajitas, turkey potpies and turkey sandwiches. The ham leftovers be used for breakfast scrambles and sandwiches and other creations that love a salty kick.

   Ham is great, but honestly it just wouldn't feel like christmas for me without big, juicy turkey and cranberry sauce.

   Niether our Christmas dinner is usually a big seafood banquet of Prawns and Lobsters and with a roast lamb.

    I usually serve Ham and all the fixings for Christmas dinner.  I was amazed when my mom called me a few days ago and suggested that we order pizza because she didn't want to see me go through the bother of cooking my normal Christmas dinner! 
    
    I tried not to laugh and let her know that I appreciated the thought.  But, seriously, what pizza place is going to be open on Christmas!  She even went so far as to suggest we get it the day before and just warm it up on Christmas day.
    
    I love my mom!

    I think we're going for both this year. A small turkey and a honey baked ham. Our 26lb turkey for Thanksgiving didn't even last thru the weekend!! I want leftovers!! Merry Christmas

    I'm not serving Christmas dinner this year because we're traveling to see family. But I pray that my relatives' serve ham, I generally dislike poultry.

    My family typically opts for the ham because we just recently had Turkey for Thanksgiving. I generally prefer ham over Turkey anyway
