Father's Day

My father and stepfather both passed away in 1999 and 2001 so father's day is not easy for me, but it is getting easier. I know there are many out there still celebrating this day and I would too if my dads were still around.

My father was a wonderful man. He loved the Angels baseball team and died right before they won the world series. He served our country in the Vietnam War. He went to U.S.C. and got his master's degree. He taught me to catch a baseball with my bare hands and how to throw and pitch like a guy instead of like a girl. He helped me when I needed it. He danced with me at my wedding. He loved me no matter what.

My stepfather was also a wonderful man. Everybody loved him. He was fun and loved to laugh. He raised me with my mother since I was 10 years old. He taught me how to drive at 16. He danced with me at my wedding. He was there at the birth of each of my three daughters. He helped me when I needed it. He loved me no matter what.

I love mustaches. I think they are great fun gift and card to give Dads on Father's Day.
