Keep DIY Gifts for Teachers Personal

Researching ideas for making teacher gifts, I kept seeing words like this...."a handwritten note from either the child or the parent is the icing on DIY gifts for teachers". (Whichever DIY teachers gift you choose to make, don't forget to add this personal touch.)

Place homemade goodies (or an Amazon gift card) inside these handmade tissue paper dahlia flowers gifts for teachers to complete this diy gift. (Read about it here.)

Great ideas on gifts for teachers. Over the years, as a teacher, I have received many, many gifts. Each and everyone is important and precious as the child and/or their parents have taken the time and effort to choose and present it. Of course, the most precious are those who are made by the students themselves with a few words from their heart. Once I received a gift certificate for a pedicure--I really loved it as well and was put to great use--the mother really knew my weakness. All and any truly touch my heart. Thanks for sharing.

I love all of your ideas - especially the monogram made from pencils. Last year, I crocheted snowman gift bags for all tmy kids' teachers. Inside I had a Blockbuster gift card, microwave popcorn, and hot chocolate mix. They all really seemed to like them.

When my kids were little, we often potted up small plants from the garden to give to the teachers and bus drivers. That way, we didn't add to the clutter of small gifts they received. I do love the pencil monogram though......:-)

I love the idea of seed tape, now that's something a teacher doesn't receive every day for sure and the button thumb tacks have so many possibilities for dressing up the bulletin boards....and they will fit nicely into your brown paper sacks. Great ideas for DIY teacher gifts!

I notice when a teacher has a yard sale, there are lots of mugs and also apple figurines. You're right, it's best to make something unique yourself.
