Also to all out there don't forget to say Thank You and Shake hands with our Veterans they deserve it. I have the Honor of being married to one.
One of the best roommates I ever had is an Army veteran who served in Kosovo in the 1990s. He returned shell-shocked as all get-out, and even became homeless and addicted to crack. He turned all that around through Yoga, and now, even though he looks scary, he's the coolest guy you could ever want to meet.
Happy Veteran's Day, Spiritual Shawn!
I wrote a Hub on War Poetry that many people are using right now to find poems for Poppy Day in the U.K. and Veterans Day in America. Many of the poems in that collection were written by soldiers who died in battle. They are the most touching ones.
