A real tree brings the woodsy pine scent you can't get from an artificial one. But I buy the table top size ones, can't afford the tall trees. Going price around here is like $48 for a 4 ft.
    (Might be more this year)

Artificial....it is so much easier, and in the long run it's cheaper too.

Hey Susan, we buy real trees. We used to go to Home Depot, but now that we have a little man in our lives we like to go to our local Christmas Tree farm. It's such fun to find and cut down our own tree, plus I'm sure we are building fond memories for our son.

It's also nice to support our local economy.

Growing up, we had an artificial tree. Which I also have fond memories of setting up and decorating it each year.

The anticipation is already building about going back to our local farm and finding our tree, cutting it down, and strapping it to the top of the car!

Just stopped buying real ones two years ago...artificial is much easier with puppies and babies!

Artificial, but only because of allergies.
My eyes almost swelled shut the last time I had a real Christmas tree. But I have to admit that my artificial tree looks gorgeous when decorated.
