Just timimg, I find the Farmer's Almanac to be very percise when planning something in advance, try it.
It doesnt..In summer 2009 it was quite wet...not many sunny days..My daughters wedding was planned for September and the wedding day was the only saturday in that month when the skys were brilliantly blue and the sun shone all day..maybe there is something in the saying ''The sun always shines on the righteous '' lol !!
My aunt always said to put the Virgin in the front window the night before for beautiful weather on a special day ........... and it always worked for me

I love the rain. The world seems to come to a stand still and everything is so quiet and peaceful. I love walking in the rain because it gives me time to think, enjoy the outdoors alone and I love how the rain comforts my soul.

What is the weather like where you are ?We are coming into the wet season up the top of Australia where we could be cut off for ages by flooding , There will be a lot of beautiful waterfalls appearing & it is quite windy at the moment . I can watch the rain from in our caravan on the lake...
