I think that a photo book about him as a dad is the best gift--giving memories and appreciation (which dads sometimes don't get the same way moms do). My dad and my husband's dad have passed away, so I can't give them the photos I usually would give to them. But I will give my husband a book of our kids and our life together.

This is always a bittersweet time for me ... I love my father but we are not close. Father's Day always reminds me of the distance between us.
