How do you celebrate Columbus Day?
Columbus Day lands on Monday, October 8 this year. How do you celebrate Columbus Day? Here in South Florida it's considered a holiday, but the kids still have school.
I guess whenever it falls, I don't give it a thought now that the kids are grown and they aren't home from school. This year it is on my birthday...so I will eat cake on Columbus Day -this year anyway.
By getting the day off of work and writing instead. That is plenty of celebration, usually. But now that you mentioned it, I would like a sweet treat this year to go with it... Maybe a chocolate brownie mix or baking cookies...
