   Since we are struggling to stay on track finance wise due to student loans and I only have a part-time job right now, we are sticking with small, personal items that may mean more in the long run. I do not know what he is getting for me but I will probably make a small scrapbook of photos from our trips the past couple years, as well as small clay figurines I plan to sculpt. In my family it is usually the small, handmade items that mean the most so that is what I am going to be sticking with.

      Great idea and I think that scrapbook is so much better than buying something - it's more personal, full of memories and nice moments. You're investing time and love, not just money.

   Taking him out to dinner (because he always finds fault in my cooking), purchasing a new video game and a set of movies (probably Star Wars or The Lord of the Rings: Extended Edition).
