What is your spending strategy for the holidays? What are your gift giving hiding tricks?
If you decided to purchase a gift item for $170 that is bulky and difficult to hide, when would you purchase it and why? Would the timing of your holiday bonus be important in your strategy decision. Why or why not? How would you hide it from your loved one?
My strategy is to be honest about what I tend to spend every year, but this time, budget for it. Some things are inevitable, and for me buying gifts for my family is something I'm going to do every year. Better to put it in the budget and plan for it, than to be caught off guard every year and feel guilty about what should be a source of joy.

Does anyone know any person; a friend, neighbor, sibling, acquaintance, work mate e.t.c who is not a Christian? In the light of the Christmas mood and spirit, what gift do you think is best to share with such a person?
