What is the best way to spend my valentines day?

This all depends on whether or not you have a partner to spend valentines day with.

I  like the idea of spending Valentines Day with a loved one doing something special together like making dinner,  ice skating, going to the zoo or an aquarium, or take a painting class. If you are single, have friends over for a dinner party.

Spend the day doing what you enjoy most.  Hopefully, you have a special someone to share it with.

Try something in the Kitchen. Even if you don't have someone special to share it with, try making a meal that doesn't come in a box, bag or can. Perhaps if you post what your menu is going to be ahead of time, some lucky (or unlucky girl depending how good the food comes out) girl will be treated to a fabulous meal. A few tips: 1) serve wine, 2) pick a chicken recipe and 3) avoid heavy carbs like potatoes.

My dinner menu: Spaghetti Squash, Meatballs, and homemade Spaghetti sauce. A baby leaf spinach salad with feta cheese and fresh raspberry vinaigrette dressing.

Spend it like a Saint; perhaps, like St. Valentine, himself.

Valentine's Day is meant to be about love. People tend to interpret this as romantic love and get upset when they don't have a date for the night in question, but just show love to anyone in your life! Even yourself. :-)

You could... Send roses to your mom or sister. Treat yourself to a sinfully delicious dessert. Take your dad to dinner. Or, of course, if you have a romantic partner then be sure to show them a little extra care, but personalize it to their taste.

I think if you are with someone a really nice dinner at a great restaurant would be nice. If you are by yourself, maybe see a good movie and then treat yourself by going for ice cream or getting some fancy dessert.
