Texas Sheet Cake Frosting - tombs and dirt edition
The more sour cream the better! The added feature of ground up Oreo cookies makes up the piles of dirt and Milano cookies make up the tombstones. With chocolate pipping you can write a spooky message like R.I.P.
Ingredients
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cube butter
- 6 tbsp. milk
- 4 tbsp cocoa
Instructions
- In a saucepan heat milk, butter and cocoa until bubbly. Remove from heat and immediately mix in sugar, then add vanilla until smooth and silky. When ready pour smoothly on top of hot freshly baked cake. Once every thing has set for about a half hour you are ready to start decorating the top of the cake. lets make a gruesome graveyard! You will need around five or six Milano cookies, make sure you already set them with the writing of your choice before you place them into the top of your chocolate cake. The cookies should be placed down past the frosting until it stands on its own. A little more than half the cookie should be visible. After the placement of the tombstones its time to get grinding chocolate Oreo cookies. Alternatively you could just crumble up some extra chocolate cake if you like. Next pile the crumbs in front of the tombstone to give the appearance of a freshly buried grave site.
