Inspired Khaleesi Costume - From Blue Dress To The Perfect Wig

Khaleesi is without a doubt one of my favorite characters in The Game Of Thrones. We've seen many different facets of Khaleesi in the past season -- from the strong ruler to the betrayed "friend" -- and we will no doubt see a lot more of her in the coming season.

She has been tested in many ways and the way she has responded to many of her adversaries has made us love her more.

So what better way to pay tribute to this strong woman character than with a Khaleesi costume for Halloween in 2014! If you're thinking of dressing as her, here are some inspired ideas on how to be Khaleesi or Daenery's Tangaeryan this year.

A couple of years ago, we were all after the brown costume that resembled and gave a picture of Daenerys as the Barbarian princess.

But not this season..

And the Daenerys' Halloween costumes this year are certainly going to reflect this. The most obvious outfit is the blue dress which she has been wearing many times this year. It's more elegant and regal.

I haven't seen any official costume yet but here's a dress that looks much like Khaleesi's.

The blue dress above is a cheaper option to have a Khaleesi costume on.

However, if you prefer to wear one that has great similarities as the one on the tv show, then there's no better way to find this than by buying from Cosplay.

Another thing that you can do is to make it yourself. If you do a quick search on google, you should be able to find a few places where you can buy sewing patterns for this purpose.

An Important Part of your Khaleesi Halloween Costume

Sure the blue costume looks great but you still won't look exactly like Khaleesi without the trademark Khaleesi hair.

Good news is there are many of the Khaleesi wig available online. Here's one that perfectly fits the look.

Just the costumes above are more than enough to look like Khaleesi for Halloween.

However, you can take this even further, with a few more additional items to the outfit. Here are some ideas.

So Khaleesi keeps accessories to the bare minimum usually with a simple dragon "fang" necklace or an arm cuff.

Boots!

Don't forget to wear boots. Sure you can buy a new one just for the costume. But frankly, any knee length pair of boots will do. Even better with platform heels and cowboy style boots.

Daenery's hasn't always worn a blue cape. But she has worn one in some episodes and this is one of the things you can definitely add to the look if you so want.

It looks perfect specially if you're wearing the short blue Cosplay costume above.
