Our First Christmas Together Ornament

We have been married for 21 years now, but I still remember our first Christmas together, our first tree and of course our first Christmas ornament. It was a gold bulb that had a winter scene of a bride and groom with the date 1989, the year of our marriage. That 1st Christmas ornament is long gone. I think it broke one year during a move.

As a new married couple we only had a few Christmas ornaments. So I went to the store and got two boxes of ornaments that were red and green. But our 1st Christmas Ornament was gold so it really stood out. It was the beginning of many wonderful things. Now here we are with three beautiful children who are nearly adults. I know when they get married I will give them a beautiful ornament as a keepsake.

But when ever one of the members in my family gets married, I always get them a "first Christmas Ornament" as a keepsake. They make the perfect gift for any newlyweds.
