Present ideas for all

Remember to make Christmas unforgetable

How to show you care

When buying gifts it can seem that there is so much out there you can get confused. O K you can opt for the generic perfume and aftershave, but does this say you care. If your recipient has a hobby or passion in their life it’s nice to show that as it’s important to them it’s important to you. So take the time to think, put yourself in their shoes and ask ‘what would you like.’ The best gifts are not always the most expensive, but the most thought about. I hope some of these ideas help and by the way happy Xmas.

Make that birthday special

The Romance of the red rose

For the romantic

Roses are the truly romantic gift, the perfect bunch of deep red roses makes even the hardest heart melt.  Well there is now a way to express your love with roses that wouldn't fade and wilt in a week and that is with a roses plant for the garden.  Not just any plant but one named after the love of your life.  These plants will last for years and will be a hit with anyone with green fingers.

The next truly romantic gift is of course chocolate.  If you have a limited budget then there are plenty of chocolate shops that will gift wrap or personalise a chocolate gift for your sweetheart

Books and magazines

I have been the receiver and have given books and magazine subscription as gifts.  It is brilliant, they last for years and shows you care about a persons interests. With subjects like Genealogy, gardening, wildlife and sport you are sure to please. For a reasonable price you can give a gift that will go on pleasing for years.

Guitar hero

Rock On

Guitar hero is a gift that will please most peopleThe individual songs themselves have been pulled from a large number of music genres, including Rock, heavy metal, pop, grunge, soul R&B, techno, hip hop, and house. You can add to the fun with Band hero and D J Hero. Available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, and the Wii.

A piece of the moon

For a gift that is out of this world this is truly unique. It can be passed down from generation to generation, and makes a real talking point.  There are plenty of companies offering these gifts, some with framed certificates. You can also buy a moon map and telescope to identify where your plot of land is, just in case one day you might want to visit it.

Help Me!!!

Adopt an animal

.Most zoos offer an adoption scheme; check your local ones for details. Your money will be going to help the conservation and upkeep of your chosen animal. From Penguins to lions they all need our help, besides which there is nothing as nice as a family outing to the zoo  to see your gift in action. Children can really get involved finding out about their animal, so videos or books on the chosen animal can help to foster a life long interest in wildlife.

Hampers

From fine food and wines, to soaps you are bound to find a hamper that pleases. To show that you really care put together a hamper yourself for a loved one. For the price of a wicker basket and a few well chosen items you are bound to score extra brownie points.
