Turkey Roasters for your Holiday Bird

Updated on July 22, 2013

Turkey Roasters for Every Occasion

I use Granite Ware Roasters and Pans for cooking everyday meals and roasting holiday turkeys. Let's go shopping for a turkey roaster for your holiday turkey, ham, roast or holiday dinner.

A good turkey roaster may be an open pan or a roaster with a covered lid. The key is to find a turkey roaster that will distribute heat evenly, hold a large enough turkey, and make cleaning up a snap!

Here are a few turkey roasters for your holiday bird. Happy Holidays!

Turkey Roasters for your Holiday Bird

and for Every Occasion - All Year-round

I use Granite Ware Roasters and Pans for cooking everyday meals and for cooking turkeys. My turkey roaster is an 18 Inch Granite Ware Roaster that fits a 12 to 15 lb turkey. I have two smaller Granite Ware roasters that I use for smaller poultry, roasts and stews. I also have an assortment of Granite Ware cake and roasting pans that I use for baking. I like using Granite Ware roasters and pans, as they are lightweight and don't rust. I also use the smaller roasters for freezing leftovers.

This year I am looking for a larger turkey roaster that will fit a turkey between 20-25 lbs. I've been looking at a few different types of roasters including Granite Ware Turkey Roasters. Here is a selection of turkey roasters that I have found that will fit something larger. I hope you will find the perfect turkey roaster for your holiday bird and find these selections useful. I have included a few turkey accessories that I use to cook my holiday turkey. These accessories are perfect to use on any occasion for any type of poultry. Happy Holidays!

Large Granite Ware Roasters

for Holiday Birds

Larger Granite Ware Turkey Roasters

for your Holiday Bird

Here are a few different styles and sizes of Granite Ware Turkey Roasters that are larger than the ones I own. Depending on the size of the turkey roaster, they will hold a turkey between 18 and 22 lbs. I prefer a lid on my turkey roaster but you can purchase an open roasting pan instead. Make sure you measure your oven first before ordering a turkey roaster for your holiday bird. The new self-cleaning ovens are smaller than the traditional ovens.

Turkey Lifters with or without roasters on eBay - for your Holiday Bird

Turkey Lifters work well for lifting your turkey to the cutting board. Some of the lifters listed may include the roaster. A turkey lifter can refer to the rack that sits in the pan or two forks that help lift a turkey out of the pan.

Nice lens! I might have done a lens on Turkeys--but your lens was great for showing what you do with 'em once you've got them. I'm hungry for turkey already!

Another great looking lens, Wendy! To be honest, I think I roasted a turkey once ... more than fifteen years ago. Wasn't even Thanksgiving, but someone who was moving from the apartment next door had given me a free frozen turkey they couldn't take with them, so I figured I should cook it. Since then, though, I've also eaten turkeys that other people have roasted.

What a beautiful lens! I love your graphics. I'm glad you love cooking turkeys. I wish I did. I like eating them more than roasting them. Because my oven space is limited now -- only one oven-- I bought an oval electric turkey roaster so I could free my oven for the other dishes to go with the turkey that have to cook at higher temperatures than the turkey.

I've cooked over a 100 turkeys! I guess that would make me an expert. It's about the only thing I can cook well. Everything else is hit and miss. [in reply to imolaK]

I really, really NEED that turkey lifter! I first realized I was getting older when I could no longer hoist that turkey without help. Two years ago I spilled the turkey broth all over the counter and floor fighting that bird. The dressing suffered!!! Last year I got my husband to help. Even though he tried hard, he just didn't understand what I wanted him to do once he picked up the bird. He just stood there holding the dripping turkey while the dogs licked the floor. I guess I should be grateful they only licked the floor:)

Nice selection of Turkey Roasters and accessories. It's good to have a couple roasters in different sizes - they come in handy. I like the fat separator, it makes a big difference when you use one. I've never used a turkey stuffing bag, sounds like a good thing to use.
