Grey Cat And Black Squirrel
Up A tree High
Up A Tree High
Fast as rain from the sky
A cat, and a squirrel
They ran up a tree high.
The squirrel was black and grey was the cat,
The two made friends, when up a tree high
The cat ate the nuts and the squirrel got the cream
From a coconut shell up a tree high.
The sun came out and the birds flew high,
But the cat and the squirrel played up a tree high.
The woodman came and chopped down the tree
So where is the cat and squirrel to be ?
Well they ran together like rain from the sky,
Where birds nested and fledglings learn to fly.
A lake for the anglers was a pleasant place to lie,
With sheep and cows grazing near bye .
They spotted a dog so didn't make a sound,
But just in case, they soon left the ground.
And joined a heron up a tree high.
