"A Dark Faery Tale" #4: Snow White & the Seven Demons
Snow White and the Seven Demons
Now, I know you've heard the stories,
of the fairest one of all.
Her skin as white as snow...
But I'm here to tell a tale,
a tale of her other side,
the story you didn't know.
Beauty can be deceiving,
when a heart is made of stone.
For several years Snow White
had lived alone,
With a step mother so jealous,
but not nearly cruel enough.
Snow white full of malice,
was never given love.
The apple was poisoned
and rotten inside.
Some say she ate it.
Some say she died.
But the poison became her,
took over her life.
Her eyes soon became black,
empty mirrors to a soul she no longer had.
Some say she went crazy.
Some say she went mad.
She took to the forest,
to plot her revenge,
where, then, she met
the most evilest of friends.
Seven demons came to her aid,
not dwarfs as the stories say.
They became her minions,
her little slaves.
They looked like evil gnomes,
with beady yellow eyes,
sharp and rotting teeth,
mouths full of lies.
She was their faery queen,
a goddess in their sight.
They only came out to play
in the darkest of twilight.
She bound them with ropes,
her own personal whips.
They were hers to control.
They did her every whim.
But like all demons and evil faeries,
they need souls to live.
And step mother, dear, would be the first to go.
Watch out for the lady, her skin as white as snow.
