A Great Fall

 humpty dumpty was full of sweat
it made him all slick and wet
on one clear and beautiful day
he decided to go out and play
he climbed a giant oak tree
and pretended he was a pirate lost at sea
then he ran as fast as he could run
laughing out loud, boy, was he having fun
and he kept running through a corn crop
for he did not want to stop
then he came across a great wall
one that was very big and very tall
he was so excited he just had to climb it
no matter how much energy he spent
he made his way up this wall of brick
by the time he reached the top his sweat was thick
his arms and legs were so tired
he thought he would take a rest and retire
so he took a seat on top of this great wall
not realizing his sweat would cause him to fall
for he was slippery and his energy was spent
and could not grab a hold of anything, so down he went
he hit the ground with a loud BANG!
and oh the cries he screamed out in pain
because he was split in two
and there was nothing he could do
there was no help he could obtain
to put himself back together again
