A Haiku - Time
A Haiku - Time
"There is no time like the present; but there is also no present like time." (Demas W. Jasper 1935 - )
Time, heartbeats, endless?
Mine will end; yours will also.
So. lived moments count.
The time we have, is it all there is?
Commentary
There is no present like time.
Time for forgiving, time for change, time for apologies, time for friendships old and new, time for work, time for play, time for service, time for love, time to hope, time to pray, time for charity, time to prepare, time to learn, time to remember, time for tears, time for rest....all this from the time we have.
What is your time worth to you and to others today?
Used time can build for the future, or take time from the future.
Procrastinating means that time available today becomes a debt payable tomorrow or beyond.
Righteous action is time invested today to pay dividends now and forever.
The steady tick of mortality drones on, until one day it stops for us.
What comes after mortal time?
This moment is part of eternity, inseparable from it.
As time is part of eternity, we are part of the universe.
Like eternity, that will never change.
The goal should determine the path.
