A Poem About Love: Falling Into Wonderland - Part 2
Up is down
Down is up
Left is right
Right is left
My world’s been turned upside down
Like Alice’s fall into Wonderland
You raise me up lifting high
Soaring magic and charm
Divine
Your wondrous enchantment
Casting spells
On my heart
You start with a bow
A gentleman at your finest
Smiling with precise finesse
My breath needs a
Moment I need to pause
For I am not certain
If this is a dream
From which I need to wake up
Or is it all a fantasy I made up?
Small I grew but tall you made me
Magic mushrooms
And sweet butter bread fly and flutter
Powers to grow smaller or taller

They influence feelings of electric touch
That deliver me to a place of song
Where twinkling lights mixed
With velvet pink memories
Abound
Your eyes turn up into a friendly smile
The words on your lips
Capture my hand
Into yours swiftly
Running toward the rabbit hole
Whirling down, down, down...
