All These Thoughts

All these thoughts inside my head

Tangled together like a spider web.

Just keeping me hanging on

by a simple thread.

I need to make sense

Of all this mess

Running together

With no success.

Thoughts of my life

All jumbled together.

I was so confused and dazed.

Searching for answers

That will never come about.

I need to take these thoughts

And throw them all out.

I take a step back.

Deep breath…

One step

At a time.

Break it all down

With barely a sound.

Slowly and at my own pace

I will untangle the mess.

Putting all these thoughts

In their proper place.
