All These Thoughts

All these thoughts inside my head

Tangled together like a spider web.

Just keeping me hanging on

by a simple thread.

I need to make sense

Of all this mess

Running together

With no success.

Thoughts of my life

All jumbled together.

Why does life have to be so confusing?

Searching for answers

That will never come about.

I need to take those thoughts

And throw them all out.

Take a step back.

Deep breath…

One step

At a time.

Break it all down

With barely a sound.

Slowly and at my own pace

I will untangle the mess.

Putting all these thoughts

In their proper place.

Writing is a very amazing and healthy outlet for your emotions and thoughts. It's a great way to make sense of everything or even attempt to process what seems nonsensical. Stick with it, proudmama. Your writing is truly beautiful.

Thank you. Several years ago there was some major events going on in my life all at one time. During that time is when I joined HubPages, I started to put a lot of these thoughts in some of my hubs. Writing those things down became an outlet for me.

We all feel this way sometimes. So much going around in our head it's difficult to make sense of it all. You described it well. The best way to sort out your thoughts I find are to start writing them down, they even start to make sense then. Good read.
