How To Write Articles Without Being A Professional Writer

Updated on August 6, 2014

How To Write

If you're considering article marketing, this is the easiest, simplest way to earn additional income writing from home.

The very first time you sit down to write an artcle you may become overwelhmed by the resesearch. This may be the easiest part of article marketng.

There are so many sources for topics online. Search for specific keywords, create an outline, and build your article off of that. If you create original content, that's related to the main topic, you'll gain traffic and get the recognition that your article deserves. Now let's get started.....

Create A Writer Friendly Space

Create a space that's writer friendly. There's so many places that you could go if you don't have a quiet space in your home. You can drag your laptop to the library, or use the many public computers they have available. You'll need a library card, and at least one hour becuase most libraries restrict online time.

There's also several other places you can go such as cafes or hotels. Most hotels have computer rooms that you can use without having to pay an additional fee.

Taking your laptop to a park, friend's house, or any place that you can become inspired to write, will help set the tone for an awesome article.

Fast Article Writing

This is a heated topic amongst many writers. How can someone write an article super fast with quality? Many do, and in this section we'll discover how.

Grab a topic that intrigues you. Perhaps you want to increase your article marketing in order to earn money for Christmas. In order to improve your writing time, it may help to stick to a set schedule.

The best way to kick out an artcile in no time, is to begin writing without stopping. Do this until you've covered everything that comes to mind ". Once you're done, spend time editing, and prepping the article for SEO. This is where attention to detail can be an asset.

Articles That People Search For

This is easier then you think. Consider all of the things that you ever searched for online. Now think about how many people might search for that same topic. You found this article through searching online and so will several others.

The same applies to many other topics, questions, and concerns. The internet is the " go to" source for many people with questions. Just do a quick search on the topic and keywords. Google provides a keyword search tool that you can use in order to get the best URL for your article.

Driving Traffic To Your Article

I read somewhere that most people will write an article then spend several days promoting it. Who really has time for that!

If you intend on write articles for money, then you will not have lots of time to dabble in backlinking and leaving loads of comments on blogs and other types of sites. Spend limited time in this area. Get a few one way backlinks from high ranking sites and then move on. A new site that I've joined is Xomba. You can create articles and bookmarks to link back to any articles that you write.

The best way to drive traffic to niche articles is to have a " Mother Article " You can spend time promoting her and she will introduce everyone to the family.... read on... this is where it get's juicy!

Mother Niche Article

This is by far the best way to gain traffic and readership. Create a " Mother Article" to introduce the " family ". The " family " will be the many articles that you create linking from the " Mother ". It's really as simple as it sound.

Perhaps you have a niche that involves cosmetics. Break this topic down in to several articles. For instance, you can write your Mother article on " The Best Makeup For the Best Price ". Introduce a few products and briefly describe each. Once you are done, begin breaking it down into several aritcles. For instance " The Cheapest Eyeshadows ", " The best priced Lip Glosses " and so on.

After you have several articles complete, cross link all of them. The mother article will link to all of the family within it's content. The more articles the better the traffic will be!

The Expert Article Writer ?

What really makes you an expert? Do you have to have a degree in order to write an article about " How to Care For An Infant "? Many moms will tell you NO! If you've ever had a life experience ( such as being a parent ) then you're an expert on the topic. If you have sucessfully raised and infant to a toddler, then I'm sure you could write a book based on all of those experiences too!

There are many life situations that warrents your expertise on a certain topic. Did you teach yourself to type really fast? I did. I didn't use software either. I have a method but..... maybe I should share that in a ebook. Something as simple as that, could land you a really successful article.

Imagine all of the people that take typing classes. They might have searched online before shelling out 100's of dollars to take a course. Unfortunately, many people leave the classroom still searching for ways to improve their typing speed. You'll catch a few of those people as well, if you chose to write an article about improving typing speed.

The topics are endless. Lucky for us, the need for knowledge is equally important. Consider the average college student looking for information to complete a research paper. I'm sure the first thing they did was type a keyword into a search engine. That keyword brought them to an article... very similar to this one.

They may use the content in order to write their essay or maybe they'll click an ad that takes them to more information. In this case the author will get paid for an ad click... that leads us to the earning potential of writing articles online.

Making Money Writing Articles Online

Making money is a plus when creating articles to market. Some do it for the fun while others do it to earn extra income. Everything that you write and publish, will not make you money but, it will set the tone for other articles you creative. Using links to drive traffic will help increase sales. Don't discount anything you publish online. Everything has the potential to earn.

Getting people to click your ads do require magic.... well not really, but it does require a few steps. You have to make sure that the content, url, tags, and keywords are all relevant to your topic. By doing this, the intuitive ads will recognize the topic and post relevant links.

For instance, if you write an article on " The Causes of Diabetes " then some ads may appear for " cures " or " treatments ". It's very likely that a few readers will want to click on those ads as well.

The same goes for affiliate links. If you're an affiliate with a toy company it wouldn't be wise to place links for tobacco smoking when people are looking for Christmas toys. Keep everything you write simple, sweet and too the point. The magic will do the rest!

Advice For Writers

Do You Have To Love Writing To Be A Writer?

Do you have to love writing in order to be a writer? Well, it certainly would help. When you start writing for pleasure there's no pressure but, when you're writing to earn an income there may be certain things creatively that you may have to sacrifice. For instance, if you're writing an article about a certain product you're promoting you must have a good argument as to why the consumer should but it. This may require a ton of research on the product it's self along with additional research demographic you're attempting to target.

When I first started writing to earn an income online I found it extremely difficult to write about things that I wasn't interested in. It was down right depressing at times. I wanted to earn money but I could care less about some of the topics that made the big money. In order to be a successful writer you must identify with the topic on some level. You have to find it interesting to a degree and at the end of the day, when you're done writing your piece, you want to be proud of it.

At the end of the day, your goals in writing is what matters most. There are so many topics to write about and so many ways to profit from your articles. It's nearly impossible to run out of things to write about. Just find your niche, sit down, and write. Everything else will fall into place!
