Articles for Sale: Websites That Enable You to List Your Content, For Your Price
I have recently listed some useful websites that I have found to make money on. In those cases, I listed some that were able to provide me with some work as a writer. Along with hubpages, I am trying to keep all of my fingers in each honey jar, so to speak. This can make my evenings busy as a writer, but I enjoy it. I like to view it as a learning experience, I write research and publish or sell what I want. That is where selling my ready made articles comes in handy. I have recently stumbled upon a couple of websites that allow me to write, submit and earn, when and how I want. Now doesn't that sound like a dream come true? Well, I'll leave that up to you, the reader.
The first, that I have mentioned in my other hubs, is Constant Content. They are a useful website that allows you to write what you like and submit it, either according to their requests or whatever your heart desires. You name the price and if they accept the article, you win! Or, I mean, you make some cold, hard cash, that is, if your article sells.
Another new one that I have found, and put to good, use is called Prestige Writing Services. The goal for this website is to provide work for freelance writers while listing their articles, short stories, poems and ebooks all for the price they would like to get for their hard work(photos for sale to come soon!). It could be considered close to Constant Content, except that there is no approval process. The grammar is checked and fixed (as long as the mistakes are minor) and the articles are sold and Prestige Writing Services only takes 25% of the sale price. Employers can post articles that they need and writers can write about anything they want and then sell the articles for a price that they want. It's a great site and worth checking out.
I have stumbled upon another website that is available only to Americans. It is called Textbroker. As a Canadian, I was a little disappointed to realize this, but none the less, you can sell your articles on there. You apply by submitting a test article of 150-250 words about a couple of topics that you can choose. Once they read what you have wrote, they grade you a 1-5 as a writer, 1 being the worst and 5 being the best. I'm not too sure on the article submittion process, because they were unable to accept me. If you find out, please let me know, I am curious.
The next jack-pot site that I have found to be useful is called Dailyarticle. This is a website where, again, you submit and once the article is approved, you can sell it for your listed price. The difference is that you can only submit articles that are not on other websites. They have to be completely original and unpublished to be accepted. Whereas with constant content, they allow you to republish articles for a "use" price, that is if they have been accepted. I am new to this site, so again, if you have further info for me, please let me know.
That being said, there are some scammers out there to be wary of. I have come across a couple myself and fortunately was not duped. But it can easily be done. Hubpages has come to be a website that I enjoy and am able to submit my content on, without any hassles, as per their guidelines. That makes it much more enjoyable to write. Deadlines are not pleasant. Writing as you please and submitting as you please is a perk. as is listing your content at a price that you see fit. Some will only pay pennies, and for those, I hope they pay for what they get. The good ones are valuable!
