Being Alone in a Crowd

Feeling alone in a crowd,

despondent, disillusioned,

unaccessible, unsocial,

unnoticed, forgotten.

Voices lost in the wind,

air current, idle words,

voicelessness, conflict,

sound reflection, whispers.

Eyes averted by the gaze,

facial expression, visage,

deuteranopic, visual sensation,

unperceiving, vision-less.

Too numb to touch,

impinging, desensitize,

palpate,untouchable,

unprocurable insensible.

Where I stand casts no shadow,

presentiment, concretism,

embodiment, physical structure,

life principle, boundary.
