Can You Please, Listen to Me? : A Poem

Updated on July 5, 2017

I keep reading, reading and reading

The story you made for me the other day

And every time my tears keep coming

So move by the dream you put in my way

So wonderful the world you created

So peaceful the life you showed

So beautiful the image you gave me

Make me can’t help myself to dream it will be

Oh, you the one in my thought

Even so far this world has brought

The sadness you said you have there

Still not able to hold you from everything you care

You told me the other day

Want to hide from love that will only make you sway

But judge from how you made that story

Love is there even only will make you worry

Dear my brother, why don’t listen to your heart

What it is inside you, will be hard for you to hide

The pain might be everywhere but it is only a cart

I will put big bin on the corner, for you to drop it all aside

Live your dream, dear

No matter where you are

Don’t fall to heartbreaker

Rise again and show all what you are

If you say you broken, sorry I will never buy

Because I already seen the beauty that you are

Don’t only put all your heart in your work and let it become only story

Because maybe you will lost everything you should able to see

Can you please, listen to me?

He is as real as me and you in real life, Dohn. And I hope he will be. (I'm really blow your head now, right Mr. Story Teller?)

I can make character in my story, but not in poem, because poem is like a journal of my life for me. So, when you read it, you read my life. :)

Thank you, Dohn. I hope my creative talent really can help me become good writer, like you. :)

I have to agree with pinatails7886. You do have a creative talent. You just might help this person (if he is real that is) as your compassion for him is admirable. Thanks so much for sharing this. Wonderful work.

He is beyond all I ever imagined about how Story Teller should be and I still amaze in everything I keep found in him (Now, I'm sure I make his head getting bigger when he read this :D).

I don't know he feel lucky or not, maybe he will tell me later, because It is hard to talk with Polar Bear in winter, when he surely will choose to sleep inside his own cave than come out to speak to me. LOL

I'm good in words, but not really at English. But I hope I will be better soon. Thanks, Pintails, for the comment. You are so kind. :) And I already talked too much! Hehehe

Very interesting, and what a good poem. This story teller you keep telling us of, must be a lucky man. He sounds very talented and handsome, and just great. All men should be like him. LOL. Great poem, and I love your work so much. For someone so new to the english language you are very good at using it.
