Celebrating Mama Dorothy DeVouse: 82 Years Young

After, being told in February 2013 that she only had three months to live, Mama Dorothy DeVouse was blessed to see her 82^nd birthday on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013 and celebrate her birthday party with close family and friends. She is a present day miracle and a testament of God's Goodness.

Mama Dorothy is also the mother of my beloved longtime Sister-Friend Cassandra Young, who I affectionately call Cassie. I love this family dearly and celebrate Mama Dorothy with the following poem:

Beloved Mama Dorothy, I thank God for your life and love.

For the healing that you experienced, poured down from heaven above.

You are a radiant beam of divine light; I praise God for your 82 years.

Happy Birthday, you are an inspiration of deliverance
and a family woman who cares.

Let the Joy of the Lord be your strength and use wisdom to stay in good health;

because wellness in mind, body and spirit prospers your soul and is abundant wealth.

I pray God add many more years unto you and increase love, good health, joy and peace.

And if anything is in you unlike Him,
I pray your strength to completely release.

Hallelujah! Glory be to Jehovah
for the victory that is your life.

I truly love and celebrate you,
in the name of Jesus Christ.
