Dedication - The 23rd Word in the Good Words Project - Poem

The "Good Words" Project, was originally created by Jo_Goldsmith11, to help our fellow Hubbers practice good words, and with Dedication we strive to inspire, to promote good will and to bring recognition to unknown writers on this site.

When Grace (Jo) told me about the "Good Words" project, I made her a promise to write a poem for each word she gave our fellow Hubbers each week.

Grace, has since become disheartened and taken all her hubs down, including the "Good Words" lists that she put out weekly. I will not take down any of my poems, because I for one am proud of the idea of the good words project, and still believe in that project.

I thought my muse

Had lost her dedication

That caused her hesitation

Then she came back without the trepidation

My Muse told me!

With total dedication I must write

And to keep "Good Words" always in my sight

With total dedication I would find

The right words to make them rhyme

With Dedication in each line

Jo asked: What are some ways

We can learn to dedicate ourselves?

To areas in our lives,

That needs to have more focus

When we need to set things right

With Dedication

I need to finish up a song

That I have been working on so long
