Dreaming of Someone Special
Dreaming of someone special, someone who means the world to you, someone you love with all your heart is a blessing. It will bring a smile to your face when you wake up in the morning and you will feel more alive and ready to take on the day...
And I say that from personal experience. This happened to me many times and it actually not only made my waking moment sweet and full of smiles but it also made my day filled with happiness and I felt like anything is possible and within my reach. It also made me feel like the person I love was right next to me even though he was far away in actuality.
Below are two of my poems that I wrote after dreaming of my special someone. It was written in the summer of 2007. Hope you enjoy them!
My Poem - "To Dream of You"
To dream of you is pure pleasure
That brings you closer to my heart
And every scene I'll always treasure
For from my heart you'll never part
You'll linger there with days' passing
Warming my spirit and my soul
And my whole being you'll be caressing
There with your presence taking hold

My Poem - "You're In My Thoughts In The Night"
I lie there in my bed
Beneath the cool covers
Looking up at the stars
Hanging above me in my room
And at that moment
As my eyes begin to close
And I drift into the land of dreams
My thoughts drift to you
I picture you there in your room
Lying still without the covers
Staring at the dark ceiling
Thinking of me beside you
And that warms me all over
Envelops me in your sweet embrace
And brings you closer to me
Making my dreams magical and unforgettable
