Egyptian Trials and Tribulations
The limestone explains it all...the hieroglyphs explaining their hardships,
Jewish Hebrew...you come attack our people through terrorism and insidious acts,
We treated you well...until you were taking our sheep and goats...your land,
We conquered you...your tributes paid us well...great pyramid...sphinx...
You Hittite bastard...you and your iron...iron weapons and shield...stay away,
Can't you see we like peace and understanding...cultural giants of another time,
We found our peace through years of expansionist greed...understandable indeed,
Back away oh Hittite...before you meet your dried heed through bloody reap.
Consuming power...naval power...land power...elephants and tigers oh my oh my,
The cities...Cairo...Alexandria...oh that region...foreign investors
in a better conglomerate tomorrow,
The men that find us want that architectural glories we provide...so it shows,
Who wouldn't want to see the pyramids as it shows...creators deep
within it's shelled divide.
Ankh oh ankh I have to leave...there are much fertile ground elsewhere,
Tigris...Euphrates...the civilization there...UR and Sumerian rivalry
flourishes,
Oh let me taste your bittersweet victory...trial and tribulations,
You have made me stronger...egyptian flagship...nations following like.
Chronic disease destroying....Egypt.
