The Swipe of the Card
It was swiped...swipe swipe swipe...Pass...Authenticated...Yes I know more money to be spent at some other location,
So I walk...bags in hand...walking walking walking...making my way to the next store on the corners end,
Swipe Swipe...Authenticate...Deliberately hiding my feelings from bashful reveling of humanistic design and appeal,
Just another penny dropped in the meter...money well spent...maybe poorly...who really knows the timeless events of money stripped.
The urge couldn't be stronger...debt piling high from every individuality that finds their place high in the sky,
Standards of living taken down down down...under the ground as we all beat for the CEO to let us go...the jails stand ready,
It's just another meal to them...we supply the masses entering and leaving the system everyday...hammered existences,
But we still all shop...cameras watching as we drop money...Drip Drop down it slides like liquid into the golden cup of surreal comforts.
But everyone keep shopping...keep spending... continuous indenting of personal life standards to third world countries,
Does it matter...I ask do you care...Money feels so good when it flows from your hands like a fountain of youth sprouting,
Crashing waves of rippled design...mean't to wash away your spending debts...worldwide talks of safe banking,
Supple hammock of beach inlay...your money well spent so you could watch the water breeze by on a mission to the ocean.
Defaults loom ever higher perhaps...but individual you are don't care...the amounts riveted seemingly harmless in nature,
Euro...Dollar...Frank...Dinar...It's all the same...thresholds of fake nurture commanding the attention of millions upon millions,
But the time has come to rethink the solution...Capitalism failing in every aspect of world scale...couldn't be what is happening,
Swipe Swipe Swipe...It doesn't matter anyway...shopping bags feeling good in your hands after you go home from a long day of hard earned money you say.
Do you spend too much on your Credit Cards?
