Faith -Article Challenge - How I Found My Faith (Poem)

Updated on June 14, 2020

The Baton of 'Faith' article challenge has been passed on to me by my dear friend Ruby Fuller, known on HubPages (always exploring). I am profoundly honored by this challenge and I will do my best to make Ruby proud.

Faith

Allow your faith to flow Into the stream, on to the river And into the sea To touch each heart Wherever they may beat.

Our country steeped in Faith

Whether it’s in our God(s)

Or in our fellowman

Faith is belief and confidence

And in trust go hand in hand

Americans are brothers and sisters in Faith

Though we fight between each other

When one of us is attacked by outsiders

Against the outsiders with each other we will stand

I believe in God

That Jesus is His only Son

I do not know how or when

My own religious faith begun

Most every Sunday

We walked with Mammaw to church

And she shared her belief and faith

With all six of us

My Grandmother (Mammaw) taught us

She taught us to trust in the Word of God

Trust is believing in Faith and

Faith is our saving Grace

Allow your faith to flow

Into the stream, on to the river

And into the sea

To touch each heart

Wherever they may be

Faith is Glowing Like a River

Our God Is An Awesome God

Hallelujah

Passing the Baton!

I am perplexed, there are so many Poets and Authors that I truly admire, I would choose all my favorites. May I choose more than one or two?

This time I want to see what Frank Atanacio can do, I so admire his work. So Frank I hand the Baton to you!

A special note to a special friend

You will know who I am talking about when you hear the story at the beginning of the video below.

Maureen, this is a special for you, I hope you will listen to Faith Hill telling Loretta Lynn her story of how she got her name.
