Giving Thanks For Mother's Nature and Nature's Mother

For Mother’s nature

And

Nature’s Mother,

I offer my thankfulness.

For without one

I would not appreciate

The other.

My mother tends the garden

As lovingly as she

Tended me.

Mother Nature

Tends

Our Lives

Pleading,

‘Stop and look at me!’

Mothers give us a strong foundation

So lovingly toiled

Mother Nature gives us nurturing

From her nutritious soils.

Our Mothers

Build our souls

As Mother Nature

Withstands the tolls

that

Humans place upon Her

By reaching for selfish goals.

Our Mothers feed us from her body and soul

To enable us to become who we are meant to be

As we grow old.

Mother Nature is our earth

And the air that we breathe.

She gives us sustenance

But Mom

Gives us Life.
