Grief is the price we pay for love

Updated on April 17, 2011

Grief is the price we pay for love;

as we lease our hearts to the wrong suitors

without an written agreement,

we accepted smile and cheap pick up lines,

consists of temporary arrangements,

and lot of physical attachments

as our bodies and soul flow into depth of ecstasy

making the path clear for broken hearts.

The truth was visible,

somehow  or judgement were cloudy

Love is the state of insanity,

and throughout time,

it have done nothing for humanity.

Love is the state of insanity

grief is the price we paid for love

either for our children or leasing our heart to man

as we mourn and cling to our heart

while our suitors move on to the next

unaffected by their actions,

not much for the consolation.

Devastating when it come to the end

Sweet and wonderful in the beginning.

Luckily for the ones who found true love

just remember that the heart

is more deceitful than all else

who can understand it?

DnL...we risk it all for high stakes in a game of win or lose. Time to cut the deck and draw another card girl...

some great insight you have LoopyGem, however, the weakness of others define them and remember the heart

contol the mind when it come to reasoning about loving someone. (IN most cases though)(:)

To love someone is to know yourself inside and out. It means you are willing to accept that "for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction". What goes up, must come down, in and out, black and white and above all when concerning love....happy and hurt. Never love and be forced to never know what I am capable of? Not a chance.....:)
