Happy Mothers Day, I love you Mom

I can’t see you personally today to greet you

But I can call and send your favorite flowers

But that is not even enough dearest mom

I want to hug and hold your hands

Then personally kiss your cheek

Even that is not really enough

For the things you had done for me

But for you it will be enough

You always understand your children

And my dearest mom, it was only like yesterday

When you wrote to me and say these words

Happy Birthday my dearest one

“Gone are the days and nights when I hold you in my arms

But you will always be here in my heart”

Happy Birthday to you and take care of yourself!

I have tears of joy as I cry

I even sleep with your letter in my pillow

And slept so tightly that night

With a heavy heart because I miss you

But I am proud of myself for not crying to sleep

And I feel you are prouder than I am

Because the last time you saw me cry

You told me never to cry for a man who make you cry

Because if that man loves you he wont make you cry

In my heart I cry more, but I was sound asleep

In my dreams I remember you, strong willed but weaker I guess

Because I saw you cry when I was sick but then you turned your back

You don’t want me to see you cry, but I saw the tears rolling in your eyes

You denied crying because you want me to become stronger

Why of course you always wanted the best for me

From the moment I was born until forever

Your love is unconditional and always forgiving

You are the only person who always believe in me

Even if I do not believe in myself anymore

I could write a book about what you did to me

But I know it is endless and I cant find the beginning nor the ending

Because a mothers love is forever

It starts the moment you are just thinking of conceiving me

Even then I know you love me endlessly

I love you mom, and thank you from the bottom of my heart

For taking care of me, my siblings and my father

For teaching me how to become a good mother

For always holding my hands

And for all the things you have done for me
