I pray to change

Updated on October 28, 2012

I pray to change as I must.

And, not so much my circumstance.

It's not that I should change the song,

as much as change the dance.

I pray to change as I must.

And, not so much the world around.

It's not that I should seek the lost,

as much as see what is found.

I pray to change as I must.

And, not so much that I change you.

It's not that I should change my scene,

as much as change my point of view.

change is what we always want to do for others. when the Holy Spirit can look into our hearts, point out the need for change in my own life then things - wonderful things begin to happen. I am often led to prayer because I want things around me to change, I am challenged during prayer because Jesus begins to move in and expand my heart and I am motivated beyond prayer as the Holy Spirit's fire burns within me anew. When I pray how can I not change? Good hub!!!

Very nicely done. Some people think they can change someone else. Any change that I have ever made about me is done by me.

      Up and beautiful.
