the first, the last

a beat

rhythm in time

an ictus.


the big bang

expanding through

wind tunnels

shrunk

into

sock s t r e a m s.


pending action,

inevitable

reaction


the click of one ball

upon another

in a long stream


action

reaction

an ictus.
