"In my husband's arms"
"In my husband's arms"

In My husband's arms"
One day I wrote this poem , because of how much my husband means to me. before him, I went through an abusive and combative relationship. My husband showed me; I could be love and feel safe at the same time. This special poem came to mind. I started out writing poetry and I have gotten away from it; but I guess the gift is still there.
In My husband's arms"
In my husband's arms, I find love, joy and peace of mind.
And a kind of tranquility that's hard to find.
He loves me and holds me, and keeps me near.
He always let's me know, there's nothing left for me to fear.
In my husband's arms, where I always long to be
Because of his loving touch, I can always be me.
In my husband's arms, there's a physical and total attraction.
and a outward pouring of his ardent affections.
In my husband's arms, I have not a care
Just an irresistible urge to always be there.
His loving arms, squeeze and hold me
and his never ending love will ever enfold me.
In my husband's arms, where all my dreams came true
for a great begining to start a new.

Very beautiful poem, you are very fortunate to have found a man that you can wax so poetic.
A lovely poem that truly demonstrates true respect and love.
Beautiful poem! I know just how you feel. It's a lovely thing to see. Long, long may it last
beautiful. your love reflects in your words. just a spell check...in the lines "and a outward pouring of his arden affections" ...is the word ardent?
regards.
This is absolutely beautiful.
I loved the poem and I am so glad that it is inspired by a true life relationship

This is a wonderful Poem! I am most thankful for a warm, loving, committed, Godfearing husband! God meant for love between husband and wife to be a beautiful.
I think you should submit this to Hallmark cards!
Blessings!
Very lovely. That's the way that love and relationships are supposed to be.
