In the Presence of Jehovah (Poem)
When I'm in Your presence,
Lord, God, Jehovah!
I dwell in peace and safety,
You lift me up to soar
high above all adversity,
Who is like You?
No other can compare, or
do what You do for me
To whom else can I ascribe glory?
Who can I give honor or praise?
When only You are worthy,
I will attribute greatness to none other
You O Lord are true,
Your ways are comely, and
Your countenance heals my infirmities
Liken to the sun shining
in all of its power,
All calamities must disappear
at Your presence, and
can’t come near Your dwelling place,
You strengthen me to stand
in confidence before You,
By the precious blood of Jesus
I have audience with You,
All insecurities shrink, and subside
as I delight in You,
You are my high place,
You are my strong tower,
My fortress, and my all and all
When I am in the presence of Jehovah
I dwell where harm dare not tread.
