A Strength So Tender Yet So True.

Updated on January 3, 2014

In today's world the surrounding beauty can so easily be over shadowed by the darkness and cruelty surrounding us.

The wars raging world wide;

The crimes so callous so cold that darken our days.

The loss of loved ones ; so many gone far before their time.

To listen to the world news a burden.

To listen or try to hide in those oblivious realms of life.

That almost stagnant blanket of gloom at times such a struggle to shrug away.

Is there a hope of finding that strength so powerful , never to be extinguished??

Oh yes believe me there is, it lies deep in us all.

a strength so tender yet so true.

Rise and share

that dark oblivion

rise and share with all.

Do not pretend to be invincible

never a flinch felt at all.

Do not dwell

at the rose's thorns

but at each precious

scented bloom

there lies

a strength so tender yet so true.

Do not cry as the trees shed their leaves

just wonder at such colours

each golden red

each tree so tall.

The callous crimes

we hear each day;

dark steps driven by force

such shame should be their call.

Inside each soul

there lies

a strength so tender yet so true.

Stand up tall

to share your ways

to give support;

illuminate the good in man

the beauty of nature

this legacy to be you call.

One day when time is right

you will find

that there lies

a strength so tender yet so true.

Do not look back

with a shuddering and consuming fear filled

believe in your soul

follow your heart

which knows for sure

the beauty never far!!

Today for sure

without a doubt

I have found

that there lies

a strength so tender yet so true.

Open your hearts

and face your truths

your feelings

will tell you all.

Believe in yourself

that deep instinct

so true

will always lead you on.

Caress each hope

embrace each journey

new paths are inspiring

nature's sweet song

to nurture

each self belief

each cascading paradise

that lies in wait for us all.

simply waiting

in each brand new dawn

there lies

a strength so tender yet so true.

While the sun still rises and the night shares secrets

while the forest plays her song

while silence is full of promises

I shall never be lonely

never to doubt.

While the shadows grow to majestic heights

while the wind shatters the peace

while dawns still breaks

in the bossom of the earth

her breath magically constructing

images of hope

images of love.

Cold is the breeze that

carried the words

so true

so tender

but filled

with hope

A little lamb

sleeps in a cocoon

of snow

sheltered by his mother

maternal instincts so clear

a strength so tender yet so true.

A strength

Oh so tender

In a sweet wondrous mode

Blossoms through life's bleak crushing storms

To present one and all a gift so true

Claim yours with a pure honest heart

So tender yet so true

Oh yes for you

A strength.

Nature's sweet whispers

Yes a gift for one and all

A strength oh so wise.

Eiddwen, beautiful poem exhorting all to love one's existence and nature's loving bounties. And yes, nature's sweet whispers are magical and enchanting and are for all us to experience and be blessed by real bliss. Loved reading and enjoyed with all my heart and soul. Thank you for sharing such a great message of love, strength and serenity.

Easily correctable: "this legacy to be you call."

This is an epic, glorious, poetic statement of faith.

The choice of photos is superb (though not captioned or attributed...?)

I am looking forward to see you do a collection in print. Someday?

Edie, you just laid a map to love, peace, life, eternity...I listened and sung the song beginning to end as if I had been waiting for that Celtic breath for a long time... I actually was always fascinated with Ireland, its nature, its spirituality!

I love your words, I love your pictures, I love the breath of life and freedom that you blow when you post a hub. Inspiration, dream, strength just grow little by little while reading and watching.

You have a magic feather indeed, a magic writing feather... not a pen, not a keyboard but definitely a feather.

Thank you Edie, love and peace on you and all...let the magic work now.
