Inspirational Poetry: Keep On Dreaming
What should I do
Keep my feet planted
Firmly to the ground
Or reach for the stars
Praying I’ll become
Space bound.
What good are dreams
If they don’t put food
On the table
It’s better to focus my time
On things where money
Is ready willing and able
But I can’t live in a world
Without my beautiful
Dreams
I can only go so long
Before I run out of
Steam
So don’t ask me
To keep
My head out of the clouds
I’ll live my life
As I choose
Not as you allow
For I am a dreamer
And I believe
Dreams really do come true
As long as I
Don’t listen to the naysayers
And keep pursuing them as I do.
