Lesson on love, Pages From A Book
A lesson in Love.
By. Juliet Stewart Austin
I took a page from Life's book...
in hopes that you will listen without interrupting
speak without being condescending,
to look with eyes that are sightless.
Love should not be contained.
Nor held to a standard of what you deem
Love is freedom to express that which in us
It is a non-judgmental look at the best and the worst of.
It cannot be compared to itself for; it just is!
It never diminishes as with time.
It grows and furrows deeply entwined
For, If love is to be examined, and speculated upon or about
over time that which, is freely given.
becomes that thing that in itself
is no longer sublime.
That very thing, you did not anticipate,
That thing not spoken about,
that reaches past and under and around to block attempts...
and walls established that none can climb nor infiltrate.
Love is and should be freely given without stipulations
For love, just is!
For my Cousin's with unconditional Love as the only stipulation is that it does no harm, and is one of consent and mutual respect born of Adult emotions.
