(Nē•ces•si•ties (nec ce sities) ) A Poem About The Heart of the Necessity of Life's Basic Necessities
- Poems About Friendship and Betrayal -Death By A Bold-Faced Lie
It is well past midnight I should be sound asleep Peaceful in my dreams Frolicking with sheep Not taking great deep breaths To calm my beating heart, Or counting from one to...
Life Riddle
What I need is simple
Though it's not simple to find,
When you are living in a world
Where people are less than kind.
Yet, it's not so easy to see,
When everyone around you
Lacks basic integrity.
What I need is not expensive
Yet, the cost may seem too high,
When you are living amongst people
Who don't know wrong from right.
What I wish for isn't difficult
Yet, it may appear to be,
When your life is lived in a climate
That discourages loyalty.
What I require isn't a mystery
Yet, I struggle for the proof,
Because so many people out there
Just cannot tell the truth.
What I desire isn't impossible
Yet, the possiblities seem to cease,
When there is no one out there
Who is contemplating peace.
What I need is really not out of reach
Yet, it may be placed too high above,
When every single heart it seems
Is hardened against love.
